In
this article it talks about how this police officer who has a gun in possession
hides from a child who wants to rampage killing everyone at school. The article
was good because it opened my eyes to who we should really trust with our lives
and who we shouldn't. This child should not have been given warnings or
chances, if there was evidence about his plans to shoot the school why wasn't
this addressed from the beginning. Numerous signs should the mind of this child
the thoughts he had and no one took action. Many in the force had received calls
about this issue but did not believe he would actually take action. To top it
off an officer hid instead of trying to protect those innocent lives. This article
was a good one, because its opening my eyes to a lot. Like how much issues is
our law just brushing off. We as the people should be more cautious of what is
going on in our surrounds.
Alianna I totally agree with what you are talking about in this post.main point is who should we trust with our lives when it come to school shootings. Yes, it was wrong that the officer hide from a young boy that went on a shooting spree. An we as people look at police officers as protectors. An at times we as people can not count on the police officers to be the protectors. The force may have received numerous of phone calls about the young man and yes they should have taken action right away and should have called and warned the school about the young boy. There was no action taken and because of the lack of enforcement, care, and belief in the people that were trying to warn everyone. It's sad that no one read the signs and bothered to look further into what thing young boy was up too. With all of of the shooting that has been going on within the schools, concerts, and theaters. With everything that has been happening with the shooting it now up to us that we are aware of all of our surroundings.
